Deluxe Pacesetter Academy is a private co-educational institution which metamorphosized from Pacesetter Tutorial Classes, to Pacesetter College, Deluxe Pacesetter College and Deluxe Pacesetter Academy with its establishment centred on academic and moral upliftment of students in the Nigerian societies.
Having met all statutory requirements, the school was subsequently approved by the government for Junior and Senior Secondary Schools. Besides, National Examination Council and West African Examinations Council equally approved the school for their examinations.
The academy began operation in the year 2006 under the coordination of the proprietor, Hon. Alatise Joseph Sunday with staff strength of 14 and 34 students. The form of teaching and non-teaching staff, and students population have since then increased progressively to about 600 students in 2012
The school has been effectively preparing its students for various examinations which include Junior School Certificate Examination (now Basic Education Certificate Examination), Senior School Certificate Examinations by WAEC and NECO, Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination(UTME), Post UTME screening tests, IGSCE, SAT, TOEFL, and many more. The school has recorded above 90% success in these examinations.
In addition, a slogan, “we set the pace, others follow…” was propounded as a result of the uniqueness of operations of the school. The slogan has been a driving factor to every staff in this great learning institution to attain, maintain and sustain leadership, academic and moral excellence in our valued, ambitious and dynamic students

The Board of Trustee of Deluxe Pacesetter Academy (BOTDPA) comprises of people with excellent character and that have made landmark in their career; they are dignitaries who are academically, morally, financially and socially responsible. They have been supportive to the institution’s drive for excellence in character building, funding and infrastructural development. The BOTDPA among other functions, is also saddled with the responsibility of providing and pivoting direction for the school’s progressive gravitational push to maintain and sustain growth and development.
